EExamPilot
Grounded study practice
A calmer way to prepare
● Built for focused learning

Study from your notes.
Not from guesses.

Turn the material you already have into focused practice. Answer a question, review your reasoning, and return to the source when you need it.

Step 01 · Prepare

Bring your study material

Paste a passage that covers your topic.

Choose multiple files or drag them here. Text, Markdown, CSV, PDF and DOCX are supported when their text can be read. Files are processed in this browser and added to your notes.

No files selected.

Files are read in this browser before you choose a study action. There is no app-imposed file-count limit, but practical limits depend on your device memory and browser. With AI mode off, notes and answers stay in this browser page.

Practice question

How AI mode works: AI-powered questions and concept-level feedback are available when you opt in above and the backend has AI service access. ExamPilot sends your notes to its API to select relevant passages, then sends selected excerpts and your answer to the AI service. Do not submit confidential material. If AI access is unavailable or you leave AI mode off, the page uses a browser-only template and word-overlap preview; that preview is not semantic grading. The full local Flask app separately uses Ollama.

A focused learning loop

ExamPilot is designed around one simple idea: practise with the material you are actually studying, then return to the source to check your understanding.

01 · Start with your notes

Paste course material or add supported text-based files. Choose a topic that is covered in the material.

02 · Practise actively

Answer in your own words. Change the question style or topic to explore a different angle and reduce unnecessary repeats.

03 · Return to evidence

Compare your response with the passage shown. Use it to decide what to revise rather than treating a simple overlap signal as a grade.

What this preview can—and cannot—do

  • With AI mode off, questions use finite template-and-source combinations and feedback measures word overlap; neither feature is semantic grading.
  • With AI mode on, the secure API requests model-generated questions and concept-level feedback. The model can still make mistakes, so source evidence is validated and should be checked.
  • When AI mode is enabled, the full notes are sent to the ExamPilot API for context selection and selected relevant excerpts plus your answer are sent to the AI provider. Do not submit confidential information.
  • Scanned PDFs need OCR, which is not included. The full local Flask project separately supports Ollama-based AI.
